Anderson Varejao Having Unbelievable Start
The fantasy basketball season may have just tipped off, but there have been several players putting up huge numbers through the first week of the season. One of those players has been Cleveland Cavaliers center, Anderson Varejao.
After scoring 9 points and recording an ungodly 23 rebounds in the Cavaliers first game, many fantasy owners thought his performance might have been a fluke. However, over the first week of the year, Varejao has proven to be a fantasy monster in the paint. He has shockingly grabbed 60 rebounds in the first four games of the NBA season, which is good for an average of 15 boards per contest.
To average 10 points and 10 rebounds in fantasy basketball is pretty respectable, but Varejao’s 14 points and 15 rebounds through the first four games of the year are bordering on Dwight Howard numbers.
