Just A Rumor: Lakers Pursuing Ryan Anderson?
Just moments ago, Mitch Lawrence from the New York Daily News posted a report that spread buzz all over the Laker nation.
In an article talking about how the Lakers desperately need Nash to run Mike D’Antoni’s offense to perfection, Mitch Lawrence quotes, “The name that keeps coming up for the Lakers is Ryan Anderson, the Hornets’ long-distance shooter who was once a Net and later played for three seasons with Howard in Orlando. He’d be perfect. But first, they want to see if Nash can jump-start Gasol.”
Ryan Anderson, who was traded to the Hornets during this off-season in a sign-and-trade, is currently averaging 17 points and 8 rebounds per game. His sharp-shooting ability would be the perfect fit in the Lakers fast-pace offense. Additionally, he already has experience playing alongside Dwight Howard.
As of right now, this seems to be nothing but a rumor. Stay tuned for more updates!
