Chris Kaman Trade Update: 6 Teams Have Expressed Interest

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, there are a number of teams that have expressed interest to the Hornets about acquiring the now-inactive center Chris Kaman.

Those teams are the Houston Rockets, Utah Jazz, San Antonio Spurs, Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons, and Boston Celtics.  Apparently the Hornets are asking for a very high price as of today, looking for draft picks, cap space and a young player, which is deterring some teams from further pursuing the Hornets big man.

Kaman is set currently under contract for $12.2 million this season and is set to become a free agent this off-season.  He was the 6th overall pick in the 2003 draft by the Los Angeles Clippers, who traded him this year as part of the blockbuster trade that involved Chris Paul.
