During a recent interview with UOL Esporte, Leandro Barbosa announced that he is speaking with the Los Angeles Lakers, Brooklyn Nets and Phoenix Suns.

When asked which team he is interested in joining, Leandro Barbosa replied “Among others, I’m talking with Phoenix, the Brooklyn Nets and the Los Angeles Lakers. Steve Nash even texted me because he wants me there.”

Although the Lakers recently signed Jodie Meeks, they could use Barbosa’s offensive consistency off the bench. The Nets, who signed Josh Childress earlier today, are also another vastly improved franchise who could bring in Barbosa’s talents. If Barbosa decides to re-join his former Phoenix Suns, he would be receiving a much bigger paycheck, but will not be playing for a contending squad.
