Timberwolves Trying To Land Pau Gasol

Chris Tomasson reports that the Minnesota Timberwolves are once again trying to make a play for Lakers big man Pau Gasol. The Wolves are reportedly trying to package Derrick Williams along with possibly other players and youth.

 

Minnesota point guard Ricky Rubio and forward Kevin Love have been deemed untouchable in such a trade. The 14-16 Wolves have one of the youngest and most exciting lineups in the NBA and are looking to add a top veteran to their roster.

 

Gasol is averaging 16.8 points per game along with 10.6 rebounds on the season. The Lakers are 17-12 and currently own the West’s 5th seed.
